New Features of GoldMine Premium Edition 9.0

 

Recently the new GoldMine Premium Edition 9.0 has been released. This offers interesting new features, such as

  • a complete Outlook-Integration
  • Dashboards
  • besides MS SQL 2008 as standard, now Support of MS SQL Express, too
  • Support of Windows 7 (inclusive 64 bit)

Soon, GoldMine Premium Edition 9.0 will be available in different languages. The following languages will be provided: German, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian. Other language versions are in preperation.

 

Outlook-Integration

The full Outlook Integration is intended for users who like to work only within Outlook, but want to take advantage of the extended capabilities of GoldMine.

Besides scheduling appointments, meetings and tasks in Outlook, they also can complete activities, show GoldMine context such as linked records, when viewing activities/emails in Outlook and link to opportunities, projects or cases. The users can navigate to Knowledge Base topics, cases and projects.

The users benefit by accessing and viewing both Outlook and CRM without to switch back and forth between the two applications.

Dashboards

GoldMine Premium Edition 9.0 offers an additional module to create real-time data analysis and graphical viewing via dashboards easily and interactively. There are many predefined dashboards such as planned activities, completed activities, leads and analysis of history entries, forecasts opportunities, cases and management.

Here are some examples

Sales users and managers benefit by getting visibility of their sales forecasts data at a high level and are able to drill into the transaction details that make up the forecasted sale. Examples of the included dashboards: Pipeline Views, Open Sales vs. Closed Sales, Forecasted Sales by User.

With the Opportunity Dashboard opportunities can be analyzed by stage, time or user.

By analyzing the Case Dashboard users and managers get a better understanding of their service processes and the allocation of cases across divisions. For example they could create dashboards for cases by product, by owner or by state (open, resolved, time Resolution).

Managers get visibility into each aspect of CRM, such as sales & service. They get access into how each user is managing their day to day CRM records.

Users are enabled to create own dashboards without technical sophistication or training. The interactive dashboard designer enables rapid adoption and/or change in analysis.
